Raze was a CCM pop group based in Tulsa, Oklahoma founded by Ja’Marc Davis, a former dancer for CCM star Carman. Other Raze members included Donnie Lewis, J.D. Webb, and Mizzie Logan, though Webb was replaced by Todd Hanebrink in 2000. The group had at least two No. 1 Christian radio singles, but it all came to an abrupt end on March 1, 2001, when Davis was arrested for child molestation. The remainder of Raze only did a few more concerts before calling it quits.
On March 13, 1999, Raze released “Always & Forever (BFF)” on The Box, a music television network that offered paid video requests. Around that time, Forefront Records also published a web comic to promote Raze. It has 16 pages, each consisting of four panels. Unfortunately, only three pages and one additional panel were preserved. I have included them below for historical purposes.
